Here it is folks!  All you ever wanted to know about the oral anatomy.  Yipee!  What fun!
We all pretty much know what those stuctures are:  teeth, gums, tongue.  But what about the palate, soft and hard (roof of the mouth).  And don't forget the vestibule (the area between the cheeks, lips and teeth where the food gets stuck).  There is also the uvula (the hangy downy thing at the back of the throat) and the tonsils (some of us have them, some of us don't).
I'd like to tell you about the structures of the mouth and why you should have them checked by your dentist and hygienist regularly.
